The construction of water and sewerage infrastructure for private individuals
We supported the construction of an internal public water supply and sewerage infrastructure.
The call for applications is not open; the projects that have received funding are in the process of implementation.
The aim of the grant was to ensure that people have access to safe drinking water and that wastewater is properly collected and treated in the collection areas approved by the Minister for the Environment.
The call for applications is not open. The call for applications closed on 20 April 2021 due to budget constraints.
What was the grant for?
The grant was awarded for the connection of a dwelling to the public water supply and/or sewerage system or for the construction or reconstruction of a collecting tank in waste water collection areas, and for the construction or reconstruction of a septic tank for a dwelling in a waste water collection area with less than 2,000 consumers. We awarded grants for storage tanks and self-treatment plants in areas in which there is no public sewerage system and where it is known that one will not be established within the next five years. We supported the process of connecting to the public water supply and/or public sewerage system if the possibility to do so existed, but for some reason this has not been done.
Grants are awarded in Estonian and more information can be found on the EIC website here.
