Development of water infrastructure 

We support the construction and upgrading of combined sewerage and water systems in wastewater collection areas with more than 2,000 consumers. 

The call for applications is not open; the projects that have received funding are in the process of implementation. 
 
The aim of the grant is to ensure that more than 2,000 people are supplied with drinking water of good quality and that wastewater is collected and treated. 

Water companies that are wholly owned by one or more local authorities and have a water management infrastructure in the area were eligible to apply.
