Information about the measure

The aim of the grant is to ensure that the drinking water in water supply systems servicing more than 2000 people would comply with the quality requirements, along with the collection and cleaning of waste water.

The following activities are supported within the measure:

  • establishment of public sewerage systems in sewage water collection areas with a 2000 p.e. pollution load, approved with the directive of the Minister of the Environment;
  • reconstruction of public sewerage system in sewage water collection areas with a 2000 p.e. pollution load, approved with the directive of the Minister of the Environment;
  • establishment of public water supply system in sewage water collection areas with a 2000 p.e. pollution load, approved with the directive of the Minister of the Environment;
  • reconstruction of public water supply system in sewage water collection areas with a 2000 p.e. pollution load, approved with the directive of the Minister of the Environment;
  • reconstruction of public water supply system servicing more than 2000 people.

The application process is open to water undertakings that are owned in full by either one or several local municipalities and are owners of their local water management infrastructure. The minimum sum of the project’s aid-eligible expenses is EUR 200,000 and the maximum sum is EUR 15,000,000. The maximum grant ratio is 85% of the project’s expenses that are eligible for the grant.
