The application process takes place in the Estonian language via the database KIKAS (environmental programme) or through the E-support environment (European Union structural grants). To apply for the grant, you must enter the KIKAS or E-support environment using your ID card. Please check and update your ID card certificates; we recommend that those new to using an ID card also read about mentor study for the ID card.
 

Environmental programme

The deadline for submitting applications for the environmental programme shall be announced on the homepage of the EIC and the Ministry of Environment one month before the deadline. The proceedings and decision-making process lasts for 4-5 months.

The aims, supported activities, evaluation criteria, procedure for making a funding decision, etc., of the environmental programme are approved with Regulation No. 13 of the Minister of the Environment of 17 February 2006. Before preparing the application we recommend consulting the Environmental Charges Act, Regulation No. 13 of the Minister of the Environment, approved on 17 February 2006, and the funding procedure of the EIC, in which the requirements for the applicant, the application and the rates of self-financing are specified.

European Union structural aid

Open the E-support environment 

In 2014-2020, EUR 4.4 billion has been allocated to Estonia for supporting different areas. Further information is available here. Support from EU funds can be applied for either through an open application round, investment plan or programmes.
