Fishery

The fishery program is part of the Environmental Programme and grants are applied for from, and projects implemented in accordance with, the Environmental Program rules and the relevant Regulation of the Minister of the Environment. The amount allocated for grants varies from year to year, because it is directly dependent on the environmental charges received. The fisheries program is aimed at achieving a balance between the protection and use of fish reserves and ensuring biological diversity, long-term preservation of fish reserves and fishing possibilities for both professional fishermen and enthusiasts now and in the future.
